Hedge trimming
Twice-yearly is the rhythm for most ornamental hedges; once a year for laurels and conifers if they're mature. Conservation areas around Port Sunlight and Oxton: we're mindful of bird-nesting season (Mar–Aug) and won't cut a hedge that has active nests.
Tree pruning
Crown lifts, crown thinning, deadwooding, shape pruning. We don't top trees — it disfigures them and weakens the structure. If a tree genuinely needs to be reduced for safety, the right approach is a phased crown reduction by a tree surgeon, and we'll refer you to one.
Stump removal
Manual stump-grinding for stumps up to about 30cm diameter. Anything larger, we sub-contract to a professional with a grinder.
