Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026

Wirral Garden & Property (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights over it. Data controller: Marcos Lee, trading as Wirral Garden & Property, Port Sunlight, Wirral CH62 · 07542 888 772 · marcos@gmx.co.uk.

What we collect

Your name, address, postcode, phone and email; details of the work you ask about and your property/garden; photographs you send us; payment details you provide (we don't store full card numbers); and the messages between us (WhatsApp, phone, email, website and our booking assistant).

How we collect it

When you request a quote, accept a quote, book a job, subscribe to our tips, apply for a role, or message us through WhatsApp, phone, email, our website or our booking assistant.

Why we use it & our lawful basis

To quote for and carry out your work and take payment — performance of our contract with you. To keep records and meet tax/accounting duties — legal obligation. To send you occasional tips or ask for a review — your consent, or our legitimate interest in running the business; you can opt out at any time.

Photographs & marketing

We take before/after photos for our records and may use them to show our work (for example on social media or this website) without your name, full address or any identifying details. Tell us if you'd rather we didn't.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only where necessary: our licensed waste facility (waste transfer records, as required by law), our accountant / HMRC (tax), payment providers, and the service tools we use to run the business (e.g. messaging, scheduling and our database), under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Job and financial records: up to 6 years (tax/accounting). Quotes that don't proceed: a reasonable period, then deleted. Marketing contacts: until you opt out.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct, delete, or restrict use of your data, object to its use, or receive a copy. Contact Marcos on 07542 888 772 or marcos@gmx.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
