How much does a garden clearance cost on the Wirral?
A full garden clearance on the Wirral typically starts from around £150 and rises with the volume of waste, how overgrown the space is, and access for removal. Most domestic clearances take between half a day and a full day, with all waste taken away under a licensed waste carrier certificate — no skip required.
What affects the price
There is no single fixed price for a garden clearance because no two gardens are the same. The main things that move the number are:
- Volume of waste — a light overgrowth tidy is very different from clearing years of brambles, ivy and self-set trees, plus any rubbish, old furniture or rubble.
- Access — a garden with a wide side gate is quicker to clear than one where everything has to be barrowed through the house or down a long shared entry.
- How overgrown it is — dense bramble and established roots take longer to cut, dig and bag than long grass and weeds.
- Disposal — green waste, mixed rubbish and soil or hardcore are charged differently at the tip, and the amount changes the vehicle loads needed.
- Extras — dismantling a shed, lifting a patio, or removing a large tree stump are priced on top.
Do you need to hire a skip?
No. All waste is removed in our own vehicle under licensed waste carrier certificate CBDL629820. Nothing is left on site and nothing is fly-tipped, so there is no skip to hire, no permit to arrange, and no skip sitting on your drive for a week.
How long does a clearance take?
A typical domestic garden clearance is half a day to a full day. Larger or very overgrown gardens sometimes need two visits — we tell you which at the free quote stage so there are no surprises.
How to get an accurate figure
Send a few photos of the garden and your postcode on WhatsApp. We reply within the hour with a price confirmed before any work starts — no call-out fee. Photos of the worst corners, the access route and anything bulky are the most useful.
Common questions
Is waste removal included in the price?
Yes. Green waste and general rubbish removal is part of the clearance and covered by our licensed waste carrier certificate. Soil, rubble and hardcore can add to the cost because of tip charges — we flag that in the quote.
Can you do end-of-tenancy and pre-sale clearances?
Yes — void and pre-sale clearances are among our most requested jobs. We clear, cut and tidy, then send a photo report so a landlord, agent or solicitor can sign it off without visiting.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can get access. We send a full photo report on completion so you can see exactly what was done.
